s doing all right, of course the first soccer game back (2.5 weeks after surgery) she got hit 2 times in the leg, on the scar, so there is a nice bruise on it now. I feel like we need to go back in to the Dr. so it can be double checked as it does look a bit "angry". Her soccer team is currently 2-0 for the season. Alexa also made the Skyline 5th grade select Basketball team with a few of her school friends.

taking tennis lessons, a new sport for her, and is volunteering and helping coach 5 yrs olds learn soccer, they are so cute and love having the big girls out there on the field with them. Her soccer team is 0-2, but Kourtney scored a goal in the first game and almost had a header goal off a corner kick.

We hope to continue updating the 
house and should be done by the time the girls are on their way to college...jk;-)

The side effects tend to get stronger as the 2-week treatment goes on, so I will be happy once this week is over. I will have another PET/CT scan on Sept. 29th. I am also traveling to Chicago for work the first week of October.

It was an action packed month, enjoying the Boeing Classic from the Seahawks suite on the 18th hole, seeing the Black Eyed Peas at Bumbershoot and also watching the Colorado College's women's soccer team play Portland and UW, it was great cheering on my alma mater with a couple of CC teammates, Shelley and Robyn. Then this weekend, both girls soccer games and going to the Skyline High school football game playing Oaks Christian (with Will Smith's, Wayne Gretzky's and Joe Montana's sons on the team and their dad's in the stands in little Sammamish, WA) and then watching the HUGE upset for the HUSKIES over USC.....it doesn't get much better than that! Go DAWGS!!!!

PS Congratulations and best wishes to Annika, a 14yr old, ISC soccer player and cancer patient, finishing up her last round of chemo therapy and being cancer free -YIPPEE!!! You are a true fighter and inspiration to us all Annika!!!
