Girls' update:
Kourtney's soccer team's fall season is almost over, they play 1 more game in Dec. She guest played in a mid-Nov. tournament with the other ISC team in her age group and is still taking tennis lessons. She is keeping busy by babysitting & she also brought home a straight "A" report card!
Alexa's fall soccer season ended Nov. 8th and they played in a tournament mid-Nov. & WON it, the final game went into penalty kicks & Alexa was chosen by her coach to play goalie. Yikes! So with
her staring down every kicker, her arms out & rocking side to side, she was only scored on 1x out of 5 shots. She dove and saved 2 shots and then, with her recently honed b-ball skills, she deflected the last shot over the crossbar to help her team win it all. Now she is now ramping up with her Skyline Select 5th grade basketball team. They had their first tournament at the beginning of Nov. & then they had another tournament over Thanksgiving weekend.

I am still on the 2 week on/off shot treatment schedule and will start another round, Fri. Dec. 4th. My next PET/CT will be at the end of December.I'm feeling good and even playing a bit of indoor with my good friends, Tobey and Janneke. Not as aggressively, so not to tear ligaments!
Doug worked hard to get our final round of new windows installed and trimmed out - they look beautiful and our house has never been so warm!
He also has been keeping busy working the weekend Sno-King hockey tournaments. Then, to top it off, he ran the Seattle's half Marathon today with his friends Lars & Brian... which was amazing since the furthest he has ever run was 8 miles once. Doug crossed the finish line at about 2 hrs.

Boy, was it yummy and we are very thankful for family, friends, employers, coaches and our health!
Apple Cup - Doug & Kourtney got to go to the game with my brother-in-law Bob, and nephew Noah, and enjoyed watching the DAWGS win it again!!
